There are times when we are incredibly overwhelmed, and we start to question what will happen next, or if we could continue moving forward. Sometimes it's hard to deal with so many things at once, but it's all about taking it one day at a time, and not letting it get to you. At times, I tend to focus too much on what goes on around me or what I'm doing rather than myself and that can be a bit challenging at times because you're getting things thrown at you, and often times you just need to take a moment to yourself and just space out for a while. Some things in life are out of our hands, and as much as we want to fix things; we can't. That's when we put it in God's hands believing that it'll be okay. We might not always comprehend what the purpose behind something is but what matters is that our Lord Jesus Christ does. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song."
If you're reading this blog, it's for a reason. Today I felt the need to reach out to you all and leave you with this encouraging message. God is good, never forget that. Sometimes I just sit down and think to myself, "what am I going to do next? How long will this certain problem persist?"..but in the midst of all that doubt, I can feel the presence of the Lord, and somehow; my heart feels peaceful. That's why I want to encourage you to take that step, tell the Lord what you're feeling. Don't be afraid to tell him your burdens, your dreams, and your aspirations. Above all, he is your Father and wants the best for you.
A lot of times, we don't even know what we want for ourselves. We incessantly make the same mistakes because we forget that God knows what is best. Whatever it is that you desire in life, ask God. That's the most important thing. Sometimes it's hard to do because of all the obscurity that surrounds us, but don't be afraid. Fear is nothing but an obstacle. Now here's my question, can you overcome that obstacle? Some say that we can be our own enemy, and I've got to say that they are making a point. A lot of times we don't allow ourselves to be happy, simply because we're afraid, frustrated, or exhausted. We get so bitter that we even hurt ourselves, which only causes more pain. Despite all of things that surround us, we should never give up. Another obstacle are the people that surround us. Be on the lookout as to who you hang out with, not everyone is honest. Sincerity is such an admirable trait, and finding someone who truly cares about you is rare.
Well, I have to get off for now, but I hope you all have an amazing day. I love you all!
